CLIFTON FORGE, (DayTripper) – The Clifton Forge Juneteenth Committee, operating under the Clifton Forge Main Street umbrella, invites you to its 3rd annual Juneteenth Freedom Celebration, Monday, June 19, from 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Booker T. Washington Park in Clifton Forge. This year’s theme is Educate, Inspire, and Prosper.
The event activities will begin at noon with programming featuring Juneteenth history, guest speakers, and the Resurrecting Praise Community Choir. Multiple vendors including food vendors, DJ CMilli, and a Kid Zone: bouncy houses, crafts, and games will be available throughout the day.
