Fear and Fright on the Farm

LEWISBURG W. Va. (DayTripper) – Just a few miles outside of town, on the edge of a dark and dreary forest, lies a farm full of wicked spirits that will haunt your worst nightmares. Lost souls and chainsaw-wielding psychopaths patrol the cornfields, witches brew their dark potions in the thorn bushes and an evil clown runs this wicked circus.

Miller’s Nightmare Haunted Farm has been terrorizing its visitors for years, and it returns in 2023 to continue that frightening tradition. To make sure they can achieve that goal, the Farm has gotten some upgrades. They now feature new attractions, like Baba Yaga’s hut hidden over a noxious bog and haunted structures where wicked experiments are hidden away in the dark.

Being such a popular event, you may have to wait your turn to tour these horrors. Don’t worry, there’s a lot to keep you occupied while you wait. Tons of games, two escape rooms and the random wandering monster or madman will keep you entertained until your group is called.

Also, food. Lots and lots and lots of food. There’s hot butterbeer, hot chocolate, funnel cakes, french fries and cheesesteaks. Make sure to get your fill of goodies before you get scared half to death.

Miller’s does warn that individuals who are pregnant or prone to seizures should not enter the attraction. Additionally, multiple sets of stairs are found throughout.

People can enjoy this terror-filled night every Friday and Saturday from Sept. 29 – Oct. 28. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and guests will be admitted until 10 p.m. Visit millersnightmare.com for ticket prices, schedules or any other information. Tickets are available to purchase online.

For those who love a good scare, take a day trip to Miller’s Nightmare Haunted Farm this spooky season.
